Today at the Front Porch Library goes into the “too much of a good thing” pile. Soooooooo many kids, and most of them were older, many related in some way–which meant they were not as polite to each other as we would have liked. We read them the riot act and went on. Going on meant painting bat shirts–they turned out way cool (thanks to Genia who brought the project, and the cake–a giant orange cake with candy corn on top).
We carved pumpkins too, read scary stories, threw a hat up on the roof, got it down again, shot hoops–an active day at the FPL.
