After last weeks hoop-de-rah fourth birthday party the library had a quiet day. Everyone went into library science mode and began cataloging books, color coding books and holding up the million and one things stuffed in the back room. “What the heck is this?” was a common question.
Meanwhile, we had three pizza dough balls frozen from last week (when I got back from urgent care last Sunday I was pulled aside and informed that three of the dough balls were “contaminated” possibly with insect parts–I had added pepper).
Today we happily ate the contaminated pizzas, tried to identify the unidentifiable, and shelved newly-catalogued books. Tip for future guerilla librarians: after ten days of constant rain the books on your shelves will take up much more room and emit a strongish perfume.
